Lotus Root tastes like sweet beans. Place a 1.76 ounce bag into a large pot with 12 cups of water. Bring to a boil then turn off heat. Rest dried lotus root in hot water for 1 hour. Turn heat to medium. Cook 45 minutes. Strain broth. This is enough tea for one week. Drink 1/2 cup warm with a pinch of sea salt or add 1/4 tsp. grated fresh ginger.
